Candidate shall provide administrative support to NASA organizations, providing support services for a variety of functions including but not limited to correspondence, calendar management, records tracking and move support for Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) management officials.

The Duties Entail: 

General Office Services:  

  1. Telephone Services
  2. Appointment and Schedule Services
  3. Visitor Services 
  4. Meeting Services, Telecommunication Services, and Scheduling Conference Rooms
  5. Information Dissemination
  6. Ordering Supplies
  7. Copying/Faxing/Graphics Requests/Photo Services
  8. Records Management
  9. Data Management Services  
    1. Desktop Processing 
    2. Correspondence Tracking
  10. Travel Coordination 
  11. Time and Labor Collection 
  12. Property Coordination
  13. Move Coordination 
  14. Training Coordination
  15. Information Services Coordination
  16. Special Events Coordination

Job requirements

Requirements:
Education Requirements
High School Diploma


Required Experience
Secretary II: minimum of 1-2 years of office experience or equivalent experience.

Secretary III: minimum of 2-4 years of office experience or equivalent experience.


Additional Requirements: 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook calendar management skills
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of customer service
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to clear criminal and drug tests, regularly
